Sandy Barblett
General Manager - Commercial
Sandy Barblett has 20 years' experience in senior management roles with public companies. He has advised a number of companies in relation to general fund raising, admission onto public markets, strategy and management selection. He is a partner at boutique corporate finance firm Ironbridge Capital Partners in London and has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland; he previously worked for Minter Ellison as a solicitor.
Declan Griffin
Country Manager - Liberia
Declan Griffin holds Bachelor of Business Studies and Master of Business Administration degrees from Trinity College Dublin, is a Fellow ofthe Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, is a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers and has a Diploma in Islamic Finance from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He trained as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dublin. He then spent six years with the Gulf-based Masstock-Almarai Group and subsequently nine years with the Central European & Middle Eastern divisions of Xerox International. He held the role of Finance & Operations Director with Nigerian Bag Manufacturing Company, a subsidiary of Flour Mills of Nigeria plc for four years and most recently served as financial advisor to Prague-based Lesy Steinsky s.r.o, a property development company.
Tim Daniel
Chief Financial Officer
Tim Daniel is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and previously worked at KPMG, with clients mostly in the natural resources and small-cap sectors. Tim subsequently worked as an investment analyst with a London-based hedge fund, focusing on the high yield bond market.
Allen Yancy III
Director of Corporate Affairs
Allen Yancy has been involved extensively in Liberian business and politics since the late 1970’s. Allen served as Managing Director from 1980 to 1985 and Deputy Managing Director of the Liberian Sugar Corporation from 1978 to 1980. This was a pioneering industry in Liberia and was a fully integrated business model from the growing of sugar cane through to the industrial processes of sugar refining. Mr Yancy during his time at Liberian Sugar managed a large team of agronomists, engineers and line managers. Allen has been extensively involved at senior levels of government and business in Liberia for most of his life.
